These committees are designed to provide strategic guidance in key areas, ensuring the foundation’s mission of fostering open and community-driven scholarly publishing infrastructure is achieved. Each committee will focus on specific areas critical to Kotahi’s growth and success.

Advisory Committees Overview
1. Operational Advisory Committee
Focus Areas:
The Operational Committee will provide strategic advice on:
- Budget and financial planning
- Fundraising initiatives
- Communications and branding
- Partnerships and collaborations
- Staffing and organizational structure

2. Technical Advisory Committee

The Technical Committee will provide expertise on:
- Features and integrations for Kotahi
- Hosting strategies and optimizations
- Adoption of emerging technologies
- Revenue generation for software development
